Several of the drill hole probes found oxygen levels the order of 10%.
Is it common for oxygen to be depleted in closed spaces for non
biological reasons? That is, would low oxygen levels strongly imply
there had been life in the enclosed volume, or are there other natural
oxidation processes in these underground cavities?

Oxygen reacts with every element, compound that has a (+) charge, like every
metal, Ca, Na, etc., ect.

Of course, there are no elements in the earth, because every tree hugger
